Eh, you draw your idea lah... I cannot picture it ;)
My "logos" all come from my pics .......

How about the silhouette of a backpacker against the background of the donkey / mule (i.e. mountains)?  Coz the donkey / mule travel is not quite 'us', it seems to depict more of the locals we meet in such places.  But the mountains seem nice.  Good job, nuts!  si pey on!

We should hold a vote during the next Sgtravelcafe

Let's gather the "candidate logos" now!

Round is a good idea.  Can make into a button to pin on our backpacks or as souvenirs to people we meet on the road.  ;)

This sounds like a great idea!
Except that we have not passed the 1st stage of getting the appropriate design....

You should look at your images and contribute some of those silhouette pics leh....

My favourite is number 3 because it is simplest and easy to duplicate and use.  I would encourage all of you to propose more designs which are simple and meaningful.  Get your entries coming!

My fave is [6], because I remember being in a place like this, watching the world wake up as the clouds rise and form clouds...  and the feeling was...  amazing.

This logo invokes more feelings for me when I look at it.  Also, it was my suggestion from earlier... hehe... so whoever who created it... gracias gracias!!

[3] is nice as well.  Would be my 2nd vote.  I understand the idea of having something simple and meaningful and reproducible.  Except that it is too close to the Footprints guidebook logo, also 'right foot with an arch'... and it feels very 'my lord'.

How about the footprint of a BOOT in the sand?

I live next to the beach.  I volunteer to go and take a pic of a bootprint if no one else has such a photo in their stock and if this idea is voted for.

Me go for no. 6 too.  I like that top of the world nomad look and yes, that tagline - Just Go!  So xiao sa! (dunno how to translate to English).

Love this concept...can also make into stickers and paste them in guesthouses where we have been to...
and maybe see how many of these buttons and stickers are distributed around the world one day hahaha...will be cool.  ;)

I love number 6 too, but is the picture taking by someone in our grp? or is it off the web?
Better to have our own so that we can claim the copyright! haha  ;D

I think #6 has best logo look, but there is a watermark on the image, so I think the
image is from the web somewhere.. suggest that pple contribute a similar image to
make that icon.

I love the Footprint guidebooks' footprint logo, and so, feel #3 is a little copycat-ish...
Trisha's idea of boot-print is worth exploring, and Trisha, you can *draw* right? ;)
After all, a graphic element makes a better logo than an image I feel.
