sgtravelcafe - Singapore Travel Community
Welcome to sgtravelcafe portal!
sgtravelcafe hopes to provide a social platform for all travellers and backpackers from Singapore to share their travel experiences as well as meet up with other like-minded travellers and backpackers. New friendships can be built, exotic travel tales can be exchanged and perhaps travel tips from some oldtime travellers.
On The Road Again presents travel photo stories brought by 6 photographers who are constantly looking for new horizon.
Participating Photographers: Kelly Cheng, Zann Huang Huizhen, Gwen Lee, Lim Su Fang, Sit Weng San, Tan Kahong
Kelly Cheng, an avid traveller, shares her concern on the shrinking Aral Sea in Uzbekistan; Tan Kahong reminisces Japan with a series of picturesque photo of Hokkaido; free- spirited Zann Huang on her keen observations on the people and culture in Iran; Lim Su Fang’s candid and colourful presentation on her backpack trip in Nepal; Sit Weng San’s reflections on Russia in rich, sombre colours, as well as memories of old Hong Kong; and Gwen Lee’s captures of fleeting moments in her overland journey in Asia.

Opening Reception: Wednesday, 8th July 7pm Venue: 2902 Gallery, 11b Mount Sophia, OldSchool, #B2-09 Map:...
Thank you for your support these past few years; please help us to improve. Step forward if you have any suggestion, big ("I can invite Tony Wheeler to speak at our gathering") or small ("I am a logo-designer, and a sgtravelcafe logo is way overdue").
Our monthly gatherings are more stable now, after a shaky start. We had deliberately channeled our efforts to getting it right. Many of you have given positive feedback on how you have discovered new places and found new friends. We are not complacent. Two areas we will continue to work on: better communication and orientation of new comers.
Online, we will upload gathering photos and videos more consistently, for a start. Coordination among various sites will be more seamless. We are a non-commercial entity, so please be patient if improvements take time.
Our focus remains the same: to celebrate independent travel.
